We are devastated to share of the unexpected passing of our dear mom Erlinda de Leon. A remarkable woman that many know as "Mama" had fought a long battle with diabetes and a cardiovascular surgery where multiple blockage must be repaired. Unfortunately, after the successful procedure, it has been too much for her body to bear the on-going treatment to maintain her precious life. 

Mama was a bright light in this world, she kept the family together through her cooking and never asked for anything in return, she dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. While it is true that she can sometimes be seen as a strong personality with a bizarre sense of humor, if you knew her, you know that beneath that super woman hides years of hard work, commitment and sacrifice to have raised tons of children even not her own, making sure they grow as successful as they are now. Her purpose has led to greatness and satisfaction knowing she can now live in peace. Please know that Mama loved everyone and always treated them as her own family. Mama will be deeply missed. She touched the lives of so many and it’s our choice to turn to give back in their time of need.

As you can imagine, along with sudden and eternal grief comes a substantial financial cost to her family, especially to Mama's husband Papa Marlon who is nearing the retirement age and is unable to continue working due to his own health issues. We are raising money to cover these costs and the expense related to funeral services. It is in these times of loss and sadness that people come together to support the people we care for. We are very apologetic to have asked for this but grateful for any and all contributions. Lastly, we also ask to keep Mama's family in your thoughts and prayers.
